A quiet weekend!

After all the running around of the past few weeks this weekend has been amazingly quiet. I even got a lie-in on Sunday.

Spending Spree

I have been on a spending spree today. Torches, padlocks, bags, books, cables and other bits and pieces have all made the overdraft dent bigger.
The good news is that the old job agreed that they owe me money and I should get my 500 quid back over the next week or so.

Name change

After getting shouted at, oh at least twelve times last night, I have changed the name of the blog from ‘Brendan in Ethiopia’ to ‘Brendan and Jen in Ethiopia’.

Still not right

So two hours was a little optimistic, its still not right after several more hours. At least everything directs to root now though.
I think its best I leave it for the rest of the day.

Setting up the blog

I have overcome my considerable lack of php skills and managed to start up this blog. A task that could have taken 10 minutes if I had a clue what I was actually doing. Two hours isn’t bad going though.
